2008 Champion - Part 1

Wow! time flies, today is 1st March 2009 which is the month of season opener for SuperGT (round1 race: 22/03/2009) and Formula 1 (Australia GP race: 29/03/2009).

Ok! while waiting for the new season to kick start allow me to show some of the last season championship winning cars from my collection....

#23 Xanavi Nismo Nissan GT-R.

The 2008 season title for drivers in the GT500 class was won by Satoshi Motoyama and Benoit Treluyer (XANAVI NISMO GT-R). This gave the Nissan GT-R the title in its GT debut year. Nissan recorded the Seventh win of the season for the new GT-R. Thereby setting the new record for most wins ever by a single make of car in a single Super GT season...

PETRONAS TOYOTA TEAM TOM’S SC430 - 2008 GT500 class team champion.

Drivers Juichi Wakisaka and Andre Lotterer had been competitive for the entire 2008 season. They won the 2008 GT500 Team champion.

.... who will be the next champion? - Clues, he's from Germany and won the championship with a German car too.... I'm sure some of you know who he is.... comeback for Part 2.
