2008 is the most extensive factory programme in AUDI AG motorsport history to date. In June Dindo Capello, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish scored the third successive victory for the Audi R10 TDI in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Lucas Luhr and Marco Werner won the American Le Mans Series title with the diesel sportscar, Alexandre Prémat and Mike Rockenfeller in the European based Le Mans Series. On Sunday, 26 October it became the most successful ever: Timo Scheider clinches the DTM title for Audi at Hockenheim, then the brand with the four rings will have won everything there was to win this season....

i watched the final DTM on astro last week. i just fall in love with Audis. Esspecially the R8. BTW did Timo Scheider drove Merc C-Class AMG in the year 2007? coz AA gonna release 1:18 C-class AMG DTM this year.
mike: sorry for late reply, it was indeed a very exciting race for 2008 DTM season. Like the F1, the DTM championship was decided in the final race. Timo Scheider had been competitive all season... and finally he won the title with Audi for the second consecutive year.
Regarding the Merc C-Class AMG - I would say! wow! that's a beauty! the recent C-class is the most sexy looking compare to its predecessors.... A must have for diecast collector... i have one Minichamps 1/43 2007 #1 as raced by DTM legend Bern Schneider.... you should get one if AA release it....
